Tomorrow is the Physics test-day...
Friday is Calc II test and drive down to New Mexico-day...
Saturday is YAYICECREAMCAKEPRESENTSHAPPYBIRTHDAY-day...
Sunday is drive back to campus-day...
Monday is repeat-day...
I think, if the homework is anything to go by, I might scrape past with the physics test... Ch. 8 is a pain, but... 9, 10, 11 are understandable enough to do. Sadly, I think there will be more Ch. 8 than not... D:
I'm not thinking about the Calc II test until tomorrow. Today is Physics-cram day.
I'm strangely tired... I slept a lot last night, but woke up early this morning with stomach cramps... (Perhaps Chinese was not a good choice for lunch? It couldn't've been anything else...)
I've fallen in love with a band (Canadian, relatively... well, pretty unknown) called Timber Timbre. It's acoustic with a low singy-sort of voice... It seems my personal music choice is pretty steady in style. haha Soft, but often with minor keys or key changes and soft voices. hahaha This has to say something about me, yeah?
On the happy side, tonight is ANIME NIGHT : DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I think tonight they're going to put on the Eureka Seven movie and whatever else... Perhaps we'll watch Tokyo MAgnitude 8.0~~? :3

unimportant mind-tangents of the night
This was only the second weekend I've spent on campus. Looking back, it's been kinda weird how busy this summer has been.
As lovely as having a room to one's self is... some nights are a bit lonely. :/
One the other side, it's a bit weird how lonely you can get when you get lonely when the internet dies. hahaha This bodes not well for my social life.
On the brighter side, only three weeks left.

It's essentially a 'slice-of-life' series. (Slice-of-life refers to a genre that typically has no over-arching plot, and like the name implies, is like being invited to watch someone's life for an episode. They tend to be relaxed and slow in pacing with (hopefully) endearing characters. I like the genre a lot, because it's very stress-relieving to watch.)
Back on the series... Minami-ke is about the daily happenings between three sisters, set in about 5-10 minute "skits." The middle child makes me think of Patrick a lot. Same with the youngest with Kevin... the interactions bring up memories, both good and bad...
I shouldn't be so nostalgic. haha ^^
Ah... family reunion this weekend... Driving 6 hours for a day... I hope to get some studying for the physics... ><;;;;

(been a while since I've updated,huh?)
Okay, today is the unfun. hahaha totally, and I want to complain about it somewhere, if only so I can look at it and say "stop being a wimp, dan"
But so far, summer semester sucks bum.
So, a summary... Went to classes, understood some of the calc 2, and none of the physics. Had someone from the dean in the physics class because the TA cannot teach at all. My notes are squiggles.
I decided today I would get chores done and do physics work, and calc 2 work tomorrow...
Went to Wal-mart, got my parking permit (after looking for the building for a good 50 minutes. Walking because I thought I'd find it soon...)... got a parking warning... then sat down at 2:30, hot and tired... pull out laptop. Get an e-mail about Nanny getting a packet from finanical aid need a signature. They said it could be done online.
I try, but it's filling out a new form. I call the number they give. It's automated and is of no help.
So, I finally bike all the way back across campus to get my physical address. Bike back for internet to share it.
Then get an e-mail from physics lab teacher reminding about the quizs tomorrow and that you need the manual for them. I remember I forgot to get it.
I go to the bookstore. Nope. I'm referred to the copier in the union.
Nope. I'm referred to King Kopier.
Nope. I'm referred to Sooner Copy
Nope. I'm referred to the bookstore.
.....
I get back just in time to watch my one option of food close. Dinner is my one meal of the day....
Then realize, the entire time, I've been asking for the wrong class number, but of course everyplace is closed.
And so, Oh, I can get it tomorrow if I wake up earlier before calc class. good....
So I try to do physics homework and sign up on-line for the homework... And realize, it won't accept my course number, meaning I can't do the homework.
Well, goshfarmit.
So I can't do my physics lab studying.
I can't do my calc 2 homework because the help center is closed, and I need their help
and I can't do the physics class homework.
and I'm hungry... =.=;;; But....
Today is not being nice at all. I can't count the number of times I've raced on my bike across campus.
and there's still no internet inthe dorms because you have to sign up for it.
But, I can't sign up for it on another server, but yet I can't get on that server to being with.
I hate the summer semester. fr srs.
Today can end now.
Oh, now to do owl... yay...

[Link] | I was hoping to come to a service this weekend (February 20-22), and was curious if there were any particular protocol I would need to follow as a visitor. I would rather not commit any mistakes out of ignorance. I am a practicing Episcopalian, but am curious in attending a Latin mass. Similarly, I would like to ask for the times of service, as well as the address? I'm relatively new, and haven't quite gotten a feel for the area. I will be driving in from Norman.

Okay, so Dan's just rubbing shampoo into his hair just after 9am... and those damn sirens go off. "Emergency! Emergency! An emergency has been reported! Please exit your room and exit the building. Do no take the elevators."
Seriously?!
So, I quickly wash out the shampoo and soap, dry off and hurry outside. OMFG. 21 degrees outside, yo!
I'm so loving the winter coat. hahaha. It kept my wet hair from freezing and shattering off (haha).
In the end... nothing. Why did the alarm go off? Who knows?

Beyond that, this assigned reading book is the worst. x.x If he would stop using big words and such it would be much easier to digest... Simplicity is sacred! It means you value the reader enough to make your work easier to understand!
I say all that, but it's really mostly because I'm so worried about Programming, and slightly Precalc.... Talked to the teacher after class and said "I learned more from this classwork than the lectures... Can we do more of this?"
Maybe... I really hope we spend alot of time reviewing.... I really, really do. PLEASE DO MORE CLASSWORK AND HANDOUTS AND EASY STUFF TO MAKE THIS EASIER TO UNDERSTAND!

I've just finished reading xxxHOLiC: Anotherholic Landolt-Ring Aerosol by Nisioisin and CLAMP... That said, I should get to work getting ready for finals... Only two weeks! TWO WEEKS! It's so soon! I don't know if I'll make it! haha
Ah... I'll be starting tomorrow... Maybe if I begin early, I can stretch it out so i don't freak out at the last moment... Just thinking about it makes me terribly nervous... But then, the future makes me nervous. hahaha I'm just a nervous person, I suppose? haha
Ah.. I was going to write about Thanksgiving Break.. but... after it's over, it seems so... inconsequential... Though I did finally see the Moon and Jupiter and Venus in the sky together... Beautiful. ^^
Oh. I've been listening to X-mas music all day.... It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas~~ Everywhere you go~~

Chik-Fil-E nuggets = gremlins?
I have just got my first stern warning from an authority person~ I'm now a real university student~ <3
So, I can't finish the nuggets I got from the Chik-Fil-E spot in the food court... and decide that I'll take it back to the room and munch as I wait for class.
I walk half-out the door and get a stern "Sir. Sir."
I turn around. "You can't take nuggets out of the building. You'll have to eat them in here."
..."Oh, okay." And I toss them in the trash. What a damn waste, really.
Though seriously... Why? Are they secretly gremlins?
Rule 1: Do eat with water.
Rule 2: Do not eat them after midnight.
Rule 3: Do not take them out of the food court.
What am I going to do with outside besides EAT them? Go commit mass chicken nugget terrorism? =.= Seriously. What the heck.
Guess I'll skip dinner. hahaha
Ah well. I'm going to Grammys in... four hours, so I'll just suck it up.

Today was the restuarant's "thanksgiving meal". though... the meal was nowhere near as good as it chould have been, but... something about the combination makes me stuff my face =.=;;; I feel the need to go hibernate for a week nao.

That said, I was reminded of Garrison Keillor... I listen to his Christmas CD about half a dozen times all the time... and at one spot, he remarks that Dorothy of the Chatterbox Cafe won't make pumpkin pie, as..
"Pumpkin pie is nothing but mediocrity. The best one you ever had wasn't that much better than the worst. It's just an excuse to eat nutmeg."
I, for long time, agreed with this. I LOVE pumpkin pie, but... they do tend to run along a thin range of taste... Until now.
I, Dan Stewart, have found the worst pumpkin pie. It was nowhere near any of the previous bad pies before... It was terrible. hahaha I could only eat a half-a bite... It was terrible. haha

TODAY IS MONDAY.
And it feels like it. x.x;;;;;
If nothing else, I've managed to get my spring semester schedule all set out and enrolled, sooo.... I also got a tentative appointment for formally declaring my minor...
14 hours... mainly because it seems NO class matches with the classes I have to take, so my elective choices were a little limited...
That aside, thinking about the future makes me nervous. x.x;;; totally so. uuggghhh.....
Next math, and then I'm done for the day, beyond studying for Thursday's math test... Ugh. x.x;;; Now I'm nervous for that one.. haha
Must make a C in precalc. Or higher. Higher would be nice too, but probably impossible. hahaha
Aaaaaah. Today should just stop now. I feel totally useless since I don't feel like I've really done anything today yet... ^^:;;; Gaaoooo....

[Link] | ...Okay, so I totally slept in today... Got up at eleven... And sat up and reached for my glasses, which I put on the books at the headboard. They're not there.
I twirl around to peer all over it, looking to see if I can find them. I probably looked like a moron, staring at books from five inches away. haha ;;;
In either case, they're not there. And then I noticed, Ah! My second pillow is gone! o.o;;;; I had woken up in the night, thinking that I was laying a bit flatter than normal, but went back to sleep. After some looking, it wasn't beside me, nor had it falling to the floor.
So, now a fair bit worried, I sit up and slowly creep around, just this side of crawling, the floor, scanning.... Then, I see my pillow sitting in my desk chair...
Thoroughly confused (Did I sleepwalk? Did someone come in here? What the heck?), I notice that the book I'd laid my glasses on was also missing. Just as I start back to the bed to start relooking...
....and my foot bumped something. It was my glasses~ Thank god I was smart and skidded my feet along the floor rather than stepped. I was about to wake the roomy for help. ^^:;;;
Oh, and I found the book by the trash can. The only thing I can figure out is maybe I threw the pillow when I was dreaming and it hit the book/glasses and all went tumbling down...
But I've never been a real active sleeper, so... I don't know... ^^;; hahaha
Ah well, today is math-studying time! Yay... =.=

That aside, I'm scheduled to start panicking about the precalc exam (on next Thursday), today... I'm hoping if I start studying earlier I'll get a better test grade....
Similarly, I'm thinking I'm nearly done with my essay for chinese. It's not the best I've ever done (it's the opposite, really...), as I slammed it together in a day (well, two really). =.=;; But whatever gets me an A on it. I'm so worried about Chinese, but I should really be worried about Precalc.
Aaaand... I really hope I got an A on the programming test. hahaha I really don't want to lose that A in that class.. ^^;;; I hate programming so much. hahaha
Aah... I'm feeling more relaxed than I should be.
And today I shall take the Language Skills something-or-other Test so I can begin a minor on broadcasting journalism! Yayz! I'm hoping that by taking it, I'll get out of having to take a math elective..... As well as getting some easy As... >.>:;;; I've heard it's mostly writing, sooo.....
Now to think up two/three other classes for next semester... 6 hours to fill. : /

Chinese. I got the test back, and got points marked off because I didn't put enough dates in. How much did I lose? One point for every lack of dattage. This meant I got a FREAKING D. It lowered my PERFECT SCORE OF AN A TO A FREAKING C.
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
